The Alliance of Civic Technologists is proud to announce our first in-person conference happening on October 17th and 18th in Orlando, Florida at The Conduit.

Hosted this year by Florida Community Innovation (FCI), this annual gathering brings together civic technologists, community advocates, nonprofit leaders, and volunteers from across the country to connect, collaborate, and build technology for social good, with unconference sessions, hands-on volunteering opportunities, and skill-building workshops led by ACT leaders. This will be a unique moment to learn, share ideas, and strengthen the civic tech community.

The night before the conference, our sponsor, FCI, will provide light bites at The Greek Corner (1600 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804) starting at 7 PM ET.

Day 1 of the conference will follow a formal agenda, and yes — if you’d like to propose a session, please reach out to the team at ACT ([email protected]) to share your idea by September 14th! We will also have local nonprofits on site with tech problems they need help with, thanks to a partnership with the Central Florida Foundation and Rally, Orange County, and the City of Orlando’s Social Enterprise Accelerator.
